The Battle to Stop Dog-Fighting
A Little League coach, a registered nurse and a teacher, what do they have in common? They were all arrested on dogfighting charges during raids by federal and state authorities last July.
Thursday’s “Fresh Air” on NPR, featured an interview with John Goodwin, Humane Society manager of animal-fighting issues, and Sean Moore, a Chicago-based former dog-fighter who works in that city on the Humane Society’s efforts campaign to end dog-fighting in that city.
